Change in Plans

I was supposed to upload more Alien Isolation...but I haven't edited to it yet. I'd say I didn't have time, but that's a lie. I mostly didn't want to edit it because the files I have to deal with now are a heaping mess because of the constant crashes we experienced. Instead I played Hunted, Left 4 Dead and...another game I really didn't expect to play today.

I will be uploading this LP in place of Alien. I believe I will be uploading the entire LP later today. It is not a long LP, and is the first episode of five episodes. I have not done an LP like this before. If it sucks, please tell me because I will likely do the other 4 episodes unless it really sucks. Or youtube removes it because of copyright bru-ha-ha or something similarly silly.

With that said. Sleep.

Horray for the Internet!

Forum fights and trolls are hilarious until you're the one who has to deal with them. Such is my experience so far as a moderator. For the past two weeks, all I have been dealing with is contacting people about prizes they won and running around putting out fires because everyone can't get along. And I need to wait on the rest of the support team and how they want to handle these situations, which means people get more angry in the meantime. My boss yesterday was like "yeah it was so quiet for a long time and then it just blew up the last few weeks."

I just feel like I'm playing The Wolf Among Us every time I need to step in to intervene.

"_____ will remember that"

Only I can't punch anyone.

Guess What?

I have nothing exciting to report!

Okay that's not completely true. My ear has been itchy the past few days....

Just kidding. I have been busier than I would like over the past weekend. I am WAY behind on a lot of things including:

-Damned video that I promised two people I'd post

-Alien Isolation edits and uploads

-Regularly scheduled uploads (I will upload them and forget to publish them because I haven't been home enough, and when I am I have other things I need to do)

-Cleaning my house

-Research for a volunteer thing

-Regular work

-Sleeping

-Eating

My mind is essentially a mess right now. Spent my whole day yesterday basically dealing with things slowly, one, at, a, time, because I was working on 2 hours of sleep, compounded with the 4-5 hours of sleep I got the night before. I don't really remember most of it to be honest and I had to work 12 hours. 

So that is why videos have not been regular over the past few days (over the past week really). I will be finished with this volunteer business soon, which will help because that's one less thing to worry about. Um, work will hopefully not finish because I like having money to work with and...OH YEAH my computer might be a little more boned than I thought it was. 

Remember how I said that a malfunctioning hard drive was mixing with a bad installation of Sony Vegas and I was getting BSODs left right and centre? And then I thought it was just Vegas being Vegas and giving me BSODs left right and centre? Well now Vegas isn't even running and a got another BSOD last night with a SHINY NEW ERROR.

Yeah looks like it's a memory issue. So that's fun.

I may be reaching the capacity of things my brain can process/remember/deal with. I'm starting to have my own memory issues.

Coffee

Apparently coffee after 7pm is great if I want to be wide awake at 2am despite being exhausted. Well it would be great if I was playing Hunted or something, but all I can do at the moment is wait for encodes and try and convince myself to do something useful. Like those papers for my bank that I meant to fill out two hours ago. What happened?

My hard drives are full of Neverwinter and Alien Isolation. One is malfunctioning and I still haven't looked into it because it is full of video that I need to remove. It also has all my laptop's back up files, which might be good to actually transfer right now. Yes. That is what I will do right now. It can work while I sleep. If I sleep. Excellent.

Also, T-minus 7 days until I have no money. Paying off some debts. Good thing I stocked up on games during the Steam sale. Laptop is still functional (scare over the weekend as it wouldn't turn on and I got all mopey, accepting my laptop's fate...then I realized the outlet was dead and my laptop was just out of batteries). Car is in good shape. I need new boots. The sole has a hole and I'm kind of on a roll with the rhymes and I lol.

I'm done.

Well Then

I have a sore throat and I have no idea what it means. I JUST got over a 24 hour flu like less than a week ago, and before that I had a head cold that my whole household got. I don't want to be sick any more. The ones effecting my throat are the worst too cause I can't do any voice recordings (or I can't do them for long).

I have been super lazy with my preview video. It's half done. It's currently sitting in the template I'm using for Left 4 Dead videos. I don't know why they are there.

I am almost done an LP that I can't announce yet because...VIDEO. I need to make another couple edits (somehow) on another LP that will be announce. Bioschock 2 is currently gathering dust in my hard drive, but it's ready to go. And I also started a new Gamecube LP (which might have been what destroyed my throat completely yesterday).

So a lot of vagueness. I promise lots of video soon. Lots of new stuff. Meanwhile, I'm not even half done uploading LOTR: TTA yet. I'll let you take that in. Hunted will continue. I shouldn't run out of those videos before we start recording yet.

Also I may or may not be playing Neverwinter again...heh.


EDIT: Dunno I did...but I somehow managed to corrupt the file I was working out of. So now I need to start again. From scratch. Perhaps I was working with too much on there...

EDIT EDIT: I FOUND A BACKUP COPY. BRILLIANCE =D

TRIPLE EDIT: It's my one external hard drive that's causing it. I think it's malfunctioning because I had it plugged into a multi-USB port and it made the other devices attached to it malfunction as well. So I gave it its own port. Now it randomly malfunctions on its own. disconnects, reconnects, and by the time that's done, Vegas has become upset. and if I try to interact with the program at all (even just to close it), it gives my computer a kick in the nads and I get a BSOD. My work-around when this happens is to kill the process. I'm going to get my files off there and do some tests. The only problem is I need to encode things first because I have no hard drive space (which is why I'm using that drive). I need to slow down on the recordings for awhile to get through all the content. Top priority to rescue off that drive is the Alien Isolation material. That cannot be replaced. Not easily anyway.
