Macs

Can I just take a moment to express my frustrations in switching from a 100% PC user to needing to use a Mac for my work computer? Because it's really frustrating. You wouldn't think a slight change in hotkeys would change much, but not only did I need to look up everything, I can't sync the keyboard or mouse I was provided, the hotkeys are fairly unintuitive (instead of the ctrl key I have the cmd key which is way closer to the z, x, c, v making it harder to copy/paste and undo, and the refresh key isn't f5 meaning that I was just changing the brightness of my screen over and over when I tried to figure that out on my own. Also I can't connect my own mouse to the computer cause....reasons? I can't click by touching the touch pad. I can only "right click" by placing two fingers on the touchpad and clicking. Also I just tried to use the delete button and found out that there is no delete button. The power button is in the delete button's place. Muscle memory is going to make me turn off my computer over and over and over...

I need to look into connecting a regular keyboard and changing some keybindings. My poor PC brain can't comprehend this. In the meantime...it's going to be a slow day. And not because I'm lazy.

EDIT - Apparently the computer was pairing with a mouse halfway across the room while refusing to pair with the one in front of me. Easy fix at least cause the other one didn't belong to anyone. The USB mouse continues to not work. At all.

EDIT 2 - My computer thinks I'm in Copenhagen. Also the if I press shift + 3 I get £ symbols. Because as a Canadian I definitely use the £ more than the #. I think I know who owned this computer last...

EDIT 3 - Updating Excel upset the delicate balance and the mouse decided it didn't want to play nice anymore. It has since been replaced by a wired microsoft mouse. Which works. It doesn't like wireless Logitech ones apparently. The saga continues.
